Najia Dufour

Najia Dufour is the niece of the notorious terrorist Osama bin Mohammed bin Awad bin Laden, more commonly known as Osama bin Laden. He is alleged to be the mastermind behind the September 11 Twin Tower attacks and the founder of the pan-Islamic militant organization al Qaeda.

Najia Dufour is the daughter of Carmen bin Laden (née Dufour, born in 1954) and Yeslam bin Laden, the elder half-brother of Osama bin Laden.

Carmen bin Laden hails from Swiss origin and is a Swiss author. She was a member of the bin Laden household, having been wedded to Yeslam bin Laden, a scion of the patriarch Muhammad bin Laden; they eventually divorced. Carmen Dufour was born in the Swiss city of Lausanne in 1954. Her father (Dufour) was Swiss, and her mother was Persian (Mirdokht-Sheybani). Her mother educated her and her three siblings (Salomé, Béatrice, and Magnolia) in Lausanne.

She was the wife of Yeslam bin Ladin, Osama bin Laden’s elder half-brother, from 1974 to 1988. They were wedded in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in 1974. Wafah Dufour, Najia, and Noor are their three children. She authored a private blog titled “Inside the Kingdom: My Life in Saudi Arabia” in 2004, offering insights into her life as a Saudi Arabian housewife and mother.

She subsequently relocated to Geneva with her then-husband and three children, eventually leaving him in 1988 and filing for divorce in 1994. She alleges that her ex-husband employed threats and intimidation, including pressure to abduct her children, engaged in infidelity, and coerced her into having an abortion. In January 2006, she finally obtained a divorce after 12 years.

Wafah Dufour (born as Wafah bin Laden on May 23, 1975) is a vocalist, social media personality, and model from the United States. Wafah Dufour grew up in Los Angeles and later in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, before relocating to Geneva, Switzerland, with her parents. Her father abandoned the family in 1988, and the divorce was finalized in January 2006. She took her mother’s surname, Dufour, as her family name.

In early 2006, Judith Regan, a publisher, signed Dufour for a reality television show that aimed to document her pursuit of success in the recording industry. She had plans to record her first album while living in London in 2009 and collaborate with the Atlanta metal band Black Lips. In 2019, Dufour became the frontwoman of the East London-based pop group, Deep Tan, alongside Celeste Guinness and Melia Beaudoin.

Despite the immense fame of her mother and sister, Najia prefers to maintain a low profile, and little is known about her relationship status and private life.

Although Najia Dufour grew up in opulence and privilege, her current net worth remains undisclosed.

Najia Dufour remains a beloved figure in her family, even as she keeps a considerable distance from the prying eyes of the paparazzi.
